1937 Company founded in Remscheid by Max and Ernst Heynen
1945 Entry into the automotive sector – first processing, then the manufacture of hand tools
1960 Acquisition of production site in Tittling, Lower Bavaria
1973 Founding of production site in Ballina, Rep. of Ireland
1980 Branching out into plastics technology and forging technology
1981 Production start in Derschen, Rhineland-Palatinate
1998

Carl Steinmann Kunststoffverarbeitung GmbH becomes HEYCO subsidiary

1999 Move into screen printing, including in-mould decoration
2000 Production site established in Pisek, Czech Republic
2004 Acquisition of site in Bergisch Born, Remscheid
2005 Start of automated forging, introduction of transfer forging press
2006 Investment in a semi-automatic hammer with robot
2008 100th injection moulding machine put into service
2009 Expansion of production and logistics areas at Tittling site
